Greenland Group announce builder appointment for new North Sydney development, Lucent

Greenland Australia today announced the appointment of Richard Crookes Constructions as the Head Contractor of Greenland’s second Australian residential project, Lucent, North Sydney. The construction team is scheduled to commence work on February 2, 2015 once Greenland complete basement excavation of the site.

Following Greenland’s success with Greenland Centre Sydney (located at 115 Bathurst Street, Sydney), Lucent is the second project for the Chinese developer and is set to become a luxurious residential tower with ground floor retail featuring a mix of studio, one, two and three-bedroom apartments with extraordinary light-filled interiors and spectacular panoramic harbour and city views.

Award-winning architects, Turner, have created a stand out architectural design with balustrades made of either perforated metal or fritted glass to provide a sense of visibility from balconies while maintaining privacy from the street. A rooftop garden set against the city backdrop also offers a breathtaking viewing platform and a place to relax in the infinity-edged lap pool.

Greenland’s Managing Director Sherwood Luo says, “We are very pleased to have Richard Crookes Constructions as our partner for this development. We are confident in the company’s experience and committed team and look forward to working with them on the project.”

With over 40 years of success and a proven track record in delivering high-quality residential projects in Sydney such as Breakfast Point, Manly Corsoleil, Erko and Wylde Street Potts Point, Richard Crookes Constructions is scheduled to complete Lucent in the third quarter of 2016.
